Job Description
As a presales manager, you will work closely across various verticals such as product development, sales and marketing, and customer relations. Your job will also include understanding the customer’s needs and pitching the company’s products as suitable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to prepare budget for Pre-Sales & Solution Design
- • Monitor adherence to allocated budget; take corrective course of action in case of deviations
- • Lead the identification and positioning of the solutions to address client requirement and
- contribute to the revenue of the Function
- • Review pre-sales funnel progress on proposals in pipeline and on deal closures
- • Review the scope and the concept of technical solution to ensure all the client requirements are adequately addressed
- • Liaise with the Opportunity Review Board while deciding to quote for complex and high value bids
- • Review the technical and commercial proposals for clients, make recommendations to improve the overall
- effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the solutions
- • Assist the Sales team during proposal presentations and address technical queries related to the solutions
- • Review and approve Bill of material for OEM/ Vendors
- • Conduct negotiations with OEM/ Vendors for the quotations for Bill of Materials in case of complex and critical deals
- • Review and ensure accuracy of customer information sheet, ICT profitability sheet
- • Provide guidance for identification and analysis of Solutions for Productization
- • Review and approve Business Performance Report to be shared with management for review and action planning
- • Undertake execution of any project/ initiative for the department and organization as identified from
- time-to-time based on business needs
- • Identify training needs and nominate team members for training programs, ensure timely completion of
- PMR process for self and the team, ensure active participation in employee engagement surveys
