Job Description
The Parts Sales Executive – Workshop Counter assists customers and workshop staff by providing the correct automotive parts and accessories. This role involves managing parts orders, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely deliveries.
The employee works closely with the workshop team to ensure smooth operations, maintains a high level of customer service, and supports parts sales to meet revenue goals
Responsibilities
Purpose of Position:
- To create benchmarks, set & achieve excellence in identifying and issuing correct Parts / related products to workshop against Indents raised.
- Create & maintain healthy relationships with workshop team members (service reception team, w/shop control tower, team leaders, foreman) to understand their requirements.
- Check with fixed frequency for requirements raised for workshop estimates/issue indents and identify applicable part nos. from EPC.
- Weekly follow-up for the estimates issued for its conversion with the service reception team.
- Maintain GM Retail Standards in day-to-day working.
- Understand & implement company business policy/work procedures.
- Effectively Handle and resolve workshop complaints for product quality / avoid supply delays.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of automotive parts.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets and upsell parts.
- Efficient order processing and inventory management.
- Collaborative and able to work with workshop staff.
- Familiarity with parts management systems and basic software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales is preferred.
