Packing/Machine/Casing Operator
Job Description
This position is responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of box erecting machinery used in packaging and production processes. This role ensures that boxes are correctly formed and prepared for the packaging of products, adhering to production schedules and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Operate and monitor box erecting machines to ensure efficient and accurate forming of boxes. This includes setting up machines, adjusting settings, and overseeing the automated process of box formation.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect erected boxes for defects and ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards. Address and report any quality issues or deviations promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery. Identify and report safety hazards or incidents, and participate in safety training as required.
- Everyday 4 hrs. of overtime is included in monthly salary
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills and able to talk English
- Experience: Previous experience as a machine/Packing/casing operator or in a similar manufacturing role is highly desirable. Experience with box erecting machinery is a plus.
