Operation Manager – Delivery service – Confidential Company
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the delivery service, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of deliveries.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and coordinate with delivery personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to delivery services.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of delivery personnel and prevent accidents.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and customer information.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and seamless customer experience.

- Proven experience in managing operations in a delivery service or logistics company.
- Strong knowledge of delivery service operations, including routing, tracking, and customer service.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Experience in using delivery management software and tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of local and national regulations related to delivery services.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Preference for candidates with experience in the same industry or related industries.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages spoken by the target customer base.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
