Operation Manager – Delivery service – Confidential Company

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the delivery service, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of deliveries.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze delivery performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and coordinate with delivery personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to delivery services.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of delivery personnel and prevent accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and customer information.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and seamless customer experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in managing operations in a delivery service or logistics company.
  • Strong knowledge of delivery service operations, including routing, tracking, and customer service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Experience in using delivery management software and tools.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of local and national regulations related to delivery services.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the same industry or related industries.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages spoken by the target customer base.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
