Job Description
As an Operation Coach, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing daily operations within the restaurant environment. Your responsibilities will span various facets of restaurant management, focusing on maintaining high standards of service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and hosts/hostesses. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations by managing shift schedules and ensuring adequate staffing levels. Monitor and maintain quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and service. Address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and loyalty.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing restaurant expenses and labor costs within budgetary constraints. Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the restaurant. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Coordinate training programs for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff. Provide coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and skills.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with management, staff, and customers to address issues and implement improvements. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to achieve overall business objectives.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety regulations. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
