Roles & Responsibilities
- Performing gynecological exams and assessments.
- Providing prenatal care and education to expectant mothers.
- Assisting with labor and delivery, including monitoring fetal heart rates and providing support to the mother.
- Performing surgical procedures such as cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Educating patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
- Staying up to date on the latest research and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, with a specialization in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license and certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
- Industry of work experience: Previous experience working in obstetrics and gynecology, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Years of work experience: At least 2-3 years of experience as a nurse in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Nationality preference: None.
- Language requirements: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Technical and hard skills: Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical equipment for gynecological exams and procedures.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to provide compassionate care, and strong attention to detail.
- Personal qualities and physical abilities: Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle stressful situations.
