Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Night Auditor to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the hotel’s financial transactions during the night shift, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing exceptional service to guests. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations while delivering a warm and welcoming experience to our guests. This position demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of all hotel transactions, ensuring accuracy in guest billing and financial records. - Prepare and present daily financial reports, including revenue summaries and account reconciliations, to management. - Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless and friendly experience for all guests. - Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, providing outstanding customer service. - Process payments and handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions in accordance with hotel policies. - Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel premises during the night shift, including verifying the safety of guests and property. - Assist in training and guiding new staff members, ensuring they understand night audit procedures and customer service expectations. - Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. - Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and management, to ensure smooth operations throughout the night.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and hotel management software. - Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with large amounts of data efficiently. - Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. - Ability to work independently and efficiently during night hours, including weekends and holidays. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints professionally and effectively. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with hotel management systems. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. - Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or accounting is preferred.
