Job Description

Responsibilities
1. In co-ordination with the Education Officer, provide admin and clerical assistance to plan, implement and evaluate the counselling and psychosocial activities in the school(s) in Camp As Sayliyah (CAS). 2. Support qualified technicians when providing trainings and activities to build the capacity of teachers in the area of counselling and PSS including in times of emergency. 3. Assist in Documenting and reporting all education, counselling and psychosocial support activities conducted at the school using Smart Camp SYNC (Data Entry System) in coordination with the Education Unit. 4. Assist in the organization of awareness raising sessions, group and individual interventions, and psychoeducation sessions to create a positive learning environment, enhance the students’ wellbeing and achievement and develop positive students’ behavior. 5. Assist in with the coordination between different CAS programs, such as Protection, Health, Non-Food Items, Community Engagement. 6. Assist in the organization of educational programs and training sessions for adolescents and teenagers. 7. Support the organization of MHPSS trainings for teachers and volunteers. 8. Assist qualified technicians to identify and refer children in need of specialized services to a child psychiatrist. 9. Assist to organize capacity building activities for IOM staff, CAS focal points, Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) and community volunteers on child-oriented psychosocial support and related issues through workshops and trainings. 10. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
