MEP Engineers – Testing and Commissioning – BMCO FM

Responsibilities
  • Conduct testing and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures and protocols to ensure the functionality and performance of MEP systems.
  • Coordinate with project team members, contractors, and vendors to schedule and execute testing and commissioning activities.
  • Review design drawings and specifications to identify any potential issues or discrepancies that may impact system performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve any problems or malfunctions in MEP systems.
  • Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation to accurately record test results and findings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement corrective actions and solutions for any identified issues or deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project team members and stakeholders regarding testing and commissioning activities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in MEP systems testing and commissioning to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 7-10 years of work experience in MEP engineering or testing and commissioning role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
  • Professional certification in MEP engineering or testing and commissioning.
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably in large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, testing and commissioning procedures, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
