Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for construction projects.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with MEP design and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely completion of MEP installations.
  • Oversee the procurement of MEP equipment and materials, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of MEP installations and address any issues or concerns.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure proper installation and functioning of MEP systems.
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals for MEP systems.
  • Manage MEP documentation, including record keeping, progress reports, and change orders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any MEP-related problems or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in MEP technology to ensure best practices are implemented.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Professional certifications related to MEP coordination or project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP coordination or a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and design principles.
  • Proficiency in using MEP software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders.
