MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER in LV SG MANUFACTURING – Al Fanar Electric (L.L.C)
Responsibilities
· Ensure 100% update of product and manufacturing drawings · Ensure all shop drawings availability prior to production · Responsible for creating item codes as per standard practice and easy readability · Responsible for creating & maintaining the BOM in SAP · Provide and maintain manufacturing drawings · Maintain and update all related documents as per IMS standards Provide technical support to all departments involved in the manufacturing cycle to achieve customer satisfaction · Design & Develop new products as per the market requirements · Develop products based on IEC Standards and Local regulations where ever applicable. · Improve and Streamline the Existing products to suit the manufacturing requirements · Implement value engineering to reduce the product and process cost. Liaise with suppliers and customers to provide optimal product design
Desired Candidate Profile
- Preferred having minimum 3yrs of experience in design of Low voltage switchgear assemblies.
- Experience in 3D modelling software PTC Creo and 2D drafting in AutoCAD is required.
- Experience in Sheet metal Design and knowledge of its manufacturing process is required.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems is preferred.
- Degree in Mechanical engineering with 3yrs of experience
