Massage Therapist
Job Description
A massage therapist is responsible for treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience. The therapist should be good at perceiving client wishes and needs through spoken language, body language and other cues and modifying their treatments accordingly. They usually report to the owner or manager of the business.
Responsibilities
- Expert in developing and implementing massage therapy and recovery programmes and strategies in football players.
- Expert skills in the management of individual case load.
- Personal insight and reflection skills with awareness of own strengths and weaknesses
- Good communication skills with high level of English written and spoken.
- Active team member and able to work within a multicultural team.
- Ability to use a range of massage and recovery apparatus.
- Good level of computer literacy.
