Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Help the maintenance technicians to Maintain plant equipment, utilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation through repair, fabrication and installation of new equipment while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures
Responsibilities
- Work with Maintenance Supervisor to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas
- Performing cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.…
- Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken parts etc.…
- Check control panels and gear boxes (oil level and leakage)
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing bulb light, chain grease and AC filters in facility as necessary etc.…
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Check functionality of safety system (fire alarm and fire pumps).
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and electrical tools.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to read technical manual and drawings.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Wear appropriate PPE Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures Other duties as assigned
