Lighting Specialist

To conduct and support the delivery of complete Lighting networks/systems in major infrastructure and building projects.

Carry out complete lighting calculation and lighting designs, load schedule and feeder pillar schematics to required standards and quality.

Develop Lighting deliverables for all phases of a project including conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design

Develop the design of building lighting (normal and emergency), area lighting, DB schedule, lighting controls and schematics, etc.

Develop typical lighting specifications, installation details general requirements, testing, and commodities.

Develop typical lighting calculations (software-based), voltage drop calculations, short circuit and protective device coordination analyses.

Coordination with other Discipline Engineers as applicable.

Coordinate with CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines.

Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in all designs.

Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities.

Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.

Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables.
