Job Description

  • Support all departments in matters related to legal aspects of the company. Provide consultation, legal advice (as appropriate) to CEO and department head on general legal issues of the company.
  • Provide legal insight and support to CEO on corporate developments, such as corporate restructuring, business ventures, partnerships or Joint ventures and due diligence conducted in this regard.
  • Provide guidance for ensuring adherence to legal aspects in drafting policies, rules and regulations for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Review and provide recommendations as deemed necessary on all policies and procedures of the company for ensuring that, they comply with local laws and regulations.
  • Promptly attend to, diagnose and participate in problem solving of various legal issues pertaining to GHC activities and seek external Legal support wherever necessary for ensuring that their legal status is compliant with local laws and regulations.
  • Draft new contracts, deeds, tenders, proposals, resolutions, rules, regulation and other legal documents. Review existing legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice and support to HR on personnel matters, including but not limited to investigations, employee grievance and claims.
  • Manage legal disputes of the company by liaising with external lawyers.
  • Monitor and supervise legal issues handled by external lawyers and provide them accurate particulars.
  • Coordinate within the company and with external lawyers for determining appropriate legal course of action on all legal issues faced by the company.
  • Be a custodian for maintaining all confidential documents assigned by CEO.
