Job Description
Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer – Architecture to support our client on the design and construction of a stadium. The Lead Engineer -Architecture will play a critical role in supporting our client through all phases of the project. This position will collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Provide expert guidance and advice on architectural design, materials, building systems, and construction techniques.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate structural, mechanical, electrical, and other systems into overall project designs.
- Review and approve construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design plans and specifications.
- Resolve design issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during each phase of the project.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and design professionals within the team.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Licensed Architect with a minimum of 18 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale construction projects from concept to completion.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
- Strong proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
