Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of all pool patrons by actively scanning the water and enforcing rules and regulations.
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may occur.
- Conduct regular pool inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness to ensure the ability to perform rescues and provide assistance as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patrons, colleagues, and supervisors to provide information and address any concerns.
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary, following established protocols.
- Keep accurate records of incidents, accidents, and maintenance activities.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing pool areas and equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on lifeguarding techniques and best practices.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons, ensuring a positive experience at the pool.
