Key Accounts Manager – Confidential Company

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence through distributors in Saudi Arabia.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key distributor accounts across the region.
  • Understand distributor needs and market dynamics; customize marketing programs, promotions, and product offerings to maximize sales.
  • Monitor distributor performance against agreed upon KPIs and take proactive measures to address issues and optimize performance.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and terms with distributors to ensure profitable business relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., sales, marketing, supply chain) to align strategies and support distributor needs effectively.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and reports on distributor performance to management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct regular visits and meetings with distributors to strengthen partnerships, address concerns, and explore growth opportunities.
  • Resolve issues or disputes with distributors in a timely and professional manner
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Proven work experience as a Key Accounts Manager or similar role in the FMCG industry, specifically managing distributor relationships in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, market dynamics, and regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with distributors.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret sales performance data and market trends.
  • Degree in Marketing, or a related field.
  • Flexible to move around KSA as job will require travelling within KSA.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
