Key Accounts Manager – Confidential Company
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence through distributors in Saudi Arabia.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key distributor accounts across the region.
- Understand distributor needs and market dynamics; customize marketing programs, promotions, and product offerings to maximize sales.
- Monitor distributor performance against agreed upon KPIs and take proactive measures to address issues and optimize performance.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and terms with distributors to ensure profitable business relationships.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (e.g., sales, marketing, supply chain) to align strategies and support distributor needs effectively.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights, and reports on distributor performance to management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular visits and meetings with distributors to strengthen partnerships, address concerns, and explore growth opportunities.
- Resolve issues or disputes with distributors in a timely and professional manner
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven work experience as a Key Accounts Manager or similar role in the FMCG industry, specifically managing distributor relationships in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of FMCG distribution channels, market dynamics, and regulatory environment in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with distributors.
- Strategic thinker with analytical abilities to interpret sales performance data and market trends.
- Degree in Marketing, or a related field.
- Flexible to move around KSA as job will require travelling within KSA.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
