Responsibilities
- Design and develop switchgear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications for safety and performance.
- Conduct detailed analysis and simulations to optimize switchgear designs for efficiency and reliability under various load conditions.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of switchgear equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on switchgear systems, identifying potential issues and implementing timely solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate switchgear solutions into larger electrical systems, enhancing overall functionality.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and operation manuals for future reference.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and field personnel on switchgear operation and maintenance best practices.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in switchgear systems to enhance performance and innovation.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential hazards associated with switchgear operations.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source high-quality materials and components for switchgear production.
- Design and specify switchgear systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct detailed electrical load calculations to determine the appropriate switchgear ratings for various applications.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in switchgears
- Holder of valid work visa in Qatar
- Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication)
