Job Description

Establishes voice and data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables; installing telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression systems; building ironwork and ladder racks; establishing connections; programming features; 

Responsibilities
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance tasks including of repairs of the IT systems.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of Telecom systems such as CCTV, Access control, PABX, Public address systems covered by the maintenance section. 
  • Install hardware and troubleshoot IT and Telecom Systems issues. 
  • Transforming of maintenance data into electronically useable formats.
  • Maintaining Fiber optic network ODF’s.
  • Support of maintenance staff in the maintenance of IT systems. Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
