IT Support Specialist – Propel Consult

Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities

- IT Specialist usually perform many of the following tasks:
- Proficient in Office 365 Admin Center and Microsoft technologies, including Windows 11, Microsoft 365 Apps, and MS Teams.
- Experienced in upgrading systems (Cortex, Qualys, etc.) and managing BioTime and Suprema access control systems.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding of users by preparing devices, installing applications, and managing IT assets.
- Administer SCCM for image creation, application deployment, and user support for 120+ staff at
- HQ and branches, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Configure SIP phones and coordinate with cloud telephony providers for user management.
- Perform mailbox and OneDrive backups using Veritas SaaS utility, manage printers, and maintain general knowledge of Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Manage daily ticket queues, troubleshoot system issues, and document technical processes, ensuring follow-up on client IT system functionality.
- Report security issues and support events like Youth City 2030.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- +7 years experience.
- Have Technical skills
- Attention to Detail and Organization: Strong analytical abilities, excellent time management, and multitasking skills to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effective communicator with experience working along side solution partners and systems integrators, coordinating with clients and suppliers for IT requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office, with a solid understanding of current technology trends and systems monitoring. Over 10 years of experience in support desk roles for both Microsoft and non-Microsoft environments.
- IT Support and Problem-Solving: Capable of resolving IT infrastructure and network issues, with rapid problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Project Management: Active participation in IT projects, taking accountability for departmental services, and providing technical support, documentation, and feedback.
