Job Description
The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the company’s employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Excellent knowledge of as a system engineer with supporting role and attending customer tickets and calls.
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of Network concepts such as TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, DHCP, SMTP, UDP)
- Good experience with Linux and other Unix-based operating systems. Strong understanding of different types of cybersecurity attacks like web applications, DDOS, DNS, and intrusion attacks and how to mitigate them.
- Monitoring on-time metrics, KPIs, and research issues that cause performance degradation for critical enterprise systems.
- Implement communications protocols and solutions with various global teams to identify and proactively resolve issues causing delays or performance degradation for client services.
- Good knowledge of GSM technology and VAS services. Optional : Good knowledge of VOIP technology.
