Job Description

  • Establishes system specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure.
  • Establishes system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and system management systems; defining system and operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating system and management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor.
  • Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
  • Upgrades system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Evaluate and/or recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and software
  • Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
  • Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members / Provide computer orientation to new company staff.
  • IT Planning – Develop and implement strategic IT plans aligned with organizational goals. Assess and recommend IT solutions to enhance business operations.
  • IT Infrastructure Management – Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of networks, servers, and hardware.
  • IT Project Management – Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate resources, set timelines, and manage budgets to ensure project success.
  • IT Team Coaching – Mentor and coach IT staff to foster professional growth and excellence. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • IT Supplier Management – Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • IT Budget – Oversight and Develop and manage the IT department budget.
