Islamic English Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Islamic Studies Teacher to join our team at an Indian curriculum school in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Islamic education, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment, and nurturing students’ understanding and appreciation of Islamic principles and culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Islamic Studies lessons in alignment with the Indian curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students, encouraging their intellectual and spiritual growth.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through various forms of testing, assignments, and feedback, ensuring their understanding of the subject matter.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, inclusion, and a deep appreciation of Islamic values and teachings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, events, and professional development programs to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
- A teaching certification is preferred.
- Proven experience teaching Islamic Studies, preferably within an Indian curriculum framework.
- Strong understanding of Islamic principles, culture, and traditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
