Job Description
The Inventory Control Officer will be responsible to assist Inventory Management unit by undertaking basic laboring responsibilities in a timely and effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of Operating Machineries: Reach Trucks, VNA and alike Conduct regular physical inventory counts of all products in all warehouses and other warehouse locations.
- Verify inventory quantities by comparing them to physical counts and records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
- Ensure that inventory storage areas are organized and accessible.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to The inventory supervisor
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records in the company's database or inventory management system.
- Participate actively in the warehouse annual stock count and related tasks prepare the daily stock count report and share the updated status with the inventory supervisor and warehouse management.
- Randomly inspect the warehouse activities and transactions such as; receiving, picking, put away, GRN when required to ensure the accuracy level, and report the non-compliance for further action.
- He should have a desire to learn every detail related to inventory business and should have the passion to reach out for personal development
- When required, will assume /do other warehouse role / activities as per Management / Superiors requirements.
- Ensure compliance with organization policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements related to inventory management.
