Infra manager – Mindteck
Responsibilities
- Provide required technical support to IT systems and technical team.
- Manage AWS environment.
- Ensure the development, enhancement and regular update of IT systems and infrastructure to meet different business needs and requirements
- Ensure the development and oversees the enforcement of IT policies and procedures in alignment with internal and external requirements and industry best practices
maintaining compliance with the IT strategy
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the IT Infrastructure and Cloud division
- Ensure the development and continuous improvement in the IT security and risk management by managing existing and addressing new and evolving risks by improving
controls over sensitive data
- Manage IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans and address any IT security emergencies.
- Ensure that IT investments in technology platforms, applications and solutions, are aligned with the organization and Department strategy
- Controls budget allocation (CAPEX and OPEX) as per approved budget
- Ensure that all IT projects are efficiently planned and delivered on time, cost and progress is tracked, communicated and escalated, and requisite actions taken, as necessary
- Develop and recommends improvements to IT policies, procedures and processes and implements approved policies, processes, procedures and instructions
- Monitor adherence to polices, systems, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
- Ensure timely delivery of IT services, help desk and technical support in accordance with the overall business strategy of the organization
- Lead the IT security architecture and monitors its implementation to ensure high degree of protection against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction and
disclosure of information
- Develop and enforces policy and procedures to ensure the protection of IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the
organization
- Lead activities related to the procurement of IT equipment, hardware and software for BIBF
- Provides post implementation support to all applications in use with the help of software vendors
- Monitors, manages and coordinates with vendors for cost effective solutions for hardware and software for the organization
- Undertake any other responsibilities in the department, as directed by the Head of Department.
Skills
Familiar with AWS and InfoSec, is must.
Familiar with Kubernetes, Veeam, Docker, office 365, infra-as-a-code.
Certifications: Mandatory:
AWS and Security Certifications
Preferable: Office 365 and Networking Certifications
Optional: OS Certifications
