Job Description
Valid NEBOSH certificate or equivalent HSE qualification (preferred).
Diploma in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) or a related field.
Experience in the Food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
A valid UAE driver’s license (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Workplace Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards. Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and standards
- Safety Programs and Procedures: Develop and implement effective safety programs and procedures.
- Regularly review and update safety procedures to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure all staff are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
- Accident and Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their cause. Recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Safety Training and Awareness: Conduct safety training and awareness sessions for staff. Ensure all staff are trained in Emergency procedures and the use of Safety equipment.
- HSE Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all HSE incidents, inspections, and training activities.
- Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with government regulators to ensure compliance with all applicable HSE legislation. Stay informed about changes in HSE regulations and ensure the organization is compliant. Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends, implement best practices within the organization to continuously improve the HSE management system.
