Many of the country’s highways, tunnels and bridges have been engineered and built by us, allowing the use of our in-house asphalt, concrete, plant, and machinery. For almost 50 years we have built a strong and loyal client base across both the public and private sectors whilst working on the UAE’s iconic projects. We are expanding our HSE Team to support various projects in KSA, and we are looking to recruit HSEQ Manager to oversees the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) programs for our civil and MEP construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout project execution., key duties will be:
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSEQ strategies tailored to civil and MEP projects.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations specific to the construction industry.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead HSEQ audits and compliance checks, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed HSEQ reports to senior management.
- Design and deliver HSEQ training programs for site personnel and management.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to integrate HSEQ practices into construction processes.
- Manage incident investigations and ensure effective corrective measures are in place.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in HSEQ management within the construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction industry.
- Proven experience with risk management and incident investigation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
