Job Description
An HSE Manager (Health, Safety, and Environment) is responsible to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards in all operations related to the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards and risks.
- Provide training and education to employees on HSE best practices and procedures.
- Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and update HSE records and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in HSE to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and oversee HSE audits and assessments by external parties.
- Manage the HSE budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Lead and mentor a team of HSE professionals to promote a strong safety culture.
