Responsibilities
- Be committed to the DBS vision, ethos and values.
- Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferably with a Master's in Educational Leadership or similar) in a relevant field.
- Boasts a successful track record in a senior leadership role (ideally with previous Headship experience) within a large secondary school setting.
- Have a proven track record of raising academic standards and leading sustained successful school improvement
- Work alongside a team of senior leaders to ensure alignment and school improvement adding capacity to the wider leadership of the DBS cluster
- Lead by example - with integrity, creativity, resilience and objectivity.
- Strategic Impact: Develop and spearhead a clear vision for the secondary school, ensuring it aligns with our overall goals and propels student success.
- Curriculum Champion: Be at the forefront of curriculum development, fostering engaging and relevant learning experiences that prepare students for a bright future.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Lead by insights, utilising data analysis to continuously improve academic performance and student outcomes.

- Set up, develop and monitor a School Improvement Partnership involving learners (students), parents, staff for the Secondary phase of the School;
- Be passionate about getting the best from all students through consistent, high-quality teaching.
- Be a visible and approachable presence who communicates well at all levels.
- Support, motivate and inspire students in reaching their full potential both academically and socially.
