Responsibilities

Strategic Strategy Formulation and control - To draw appropriate strategies for the business growth and assist the management in preparing performance budgets and ensure achievement of the objectives. - To ensure execution of the business strategies to deliver on business targets agreed. - To oversee the procedures and implement changes, if any, from time to time, in line with the best practices in the industry. - To drive the efforts of marketing team and co-ordinate the marketing programms for Leasing, factoring and working capital finance. - To maintain good business relationships with commercial vehicle dealers and corporate customers to capture ongoing business opportunities. - Introduce appropriate checks and balances for protecting the interest of the company. - Explore avenues of implementing new product plans as and when appropriate. Operational Supervision and Review - Ensure overall supervision and control of day to day running of the department. - To be compliant with the policy framework for the business at all times. - To oversee the efforts of marketing team, lead and guide them to develop the marketing interface in line with the best practices in the industry - Training and development of the concerned staff to improve their productivity and ensure advancement opportunities. - Constant monitoring of accounts to detect incipient sickness creeping into the accounts and to take steps to minimise arrears. Interaction and Coordination - To consistently interact with the clients/customers and innovate improvements to provide quality client service. - To ensure that the marketing team maintains ongoing contact with the recovery and legal teams to provide inputs in a pro-active manner relating to recovery of stressed accounts. - Coordination with other divisions for cross-selling of services. Additional Responsibility Any other tasks as may be set by the CEO from time to time.

Requirements:

Education: - Graduate in Finance/ Economics/ Marketing preferably with a post graduate Management Qualification like MBA. Experience: - 12 – 15 years in marketing/banking/financial institution with at least 5 years in managerial position. Good knowledge of the entire range of corporate banking products. Special Skills & Knowledge: - Good at Customer building relationships - Excellent credit analysis skills - Good negotiation and persuasion skills - Excellent Oral and written skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage) - Effective planning, organizing and execution skills - Basic Computer skills (esp. MS Office) Business Understanding: - This position requires thorough understanding of the functional operations of the business
