Job Description
Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation
- Take orders and serve guests, noting all special dietary needs and requests
- Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
- Make accurate guest checks and secure proper payment
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and clear and reset tables timely
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of all areas and service equipment
- Assisting all teammates on the floor to create a team work environment
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Perform all assigned duties as assigned by manager
