Job Description

Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:

Responsibilities
  • Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation
  • Take orders and serve guests, noting all special dietary needs and requests
  • Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression
  • Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
  • Make accurate guest checks and secure proper payment
  • Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return
  • Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and clear and reset tables timely
  • Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of all areas and service equipment
  • Assisting all teammates on the floor to create a team work environment
  • Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
  • Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
  • Perform all assigned duties as assigned by manager
