Job Description

We are currently having GIS Developer job openings to work as Sr. Survey Software Engineer in our Surveying contract with Saudi Aramco. 

Responsibilities
  • •Provide GIS mapping, support, facilities management.
  • • Create GIS reports & documentations.
  • • Data migration/exchange from/to G&G applications & subsurface tasks.
  • • Ensure maps accuracy, spatially adjustment, georeferencing, accuracy assessment.
  • • Carry out GIS analysis for petroleum work, such as new pipeline route, site selection, etc.;
  • • Give advices on Surveying Engineering & Geomatics work.
  • • Knowledge of spatial reference systems, projections & datum and Geodesy in general.
  • • Working knowledge of developing complete Web GIS solutions using ArcGIS Server, JavaScript API, ASP.NET and HTML5 technologies;
  • • Strong knowledge of ArcGIS Server 10.x .NET framework;
  • • Good programming experience with .Net C# and ASP.NET (MCSD Certified).
  • • Python scripting for publishing custom geoprocessing tools and automating tasks;
  • • Arcs DE 10.x for enterprise geodatabase with Oracle/SQL Server databases;
  • • Good knowledge of JavaScript web API for ArcGIS Server;
  • • Working knowledge of Geodatabase design, creation and implementation, using ESRI Arcs DE;
  • • Modeling the GIS data by UML Language using Enterprise Architect software, which can be GIS system/software independent;
  • • Surveying Engineering & Geomatics Knowledge;
  • • Open Layers 2.x;
  • • Google Maps API 3.x;
  • • Microsoft Visual Studio 2015/2019
  • • Microsoft Xamarin Cross-Platform
  • • Microsoft .NET C# (XML, ASP.NET MVC, etc)
  • • .NET Web Services (REST, WCF, etc.)
  • • ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise Services.
  • • Oracle Database/Arcs DE Integration

Qualifications:

  • shall have a Master degree in Computer Science, Surveying, Mathematics, Photogrammetry, Image Processing, Geographic Information Systems or such equivalent acceptable to SAUDI ARAMCO
  • with a minimum of five (5) years of experience. Or a Bachelor degree in any one of the above disciplines with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as GIS Developer.
  • Expertise in ESRI geospatial products and Web-GIS development.
  • Working knowledge of developing complete Web GIS solutions using ArcGIS Server, JavaScript API, ASP.NET and HTML5 technologies.
