Job Description
Provide direction and oversight of all company activities, including but not limited to, Operations, Accounts/Finance, HR, Administration and all support personnel.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility and ownership of branch P&L and all company and branch initiatives for growth and expansion
- Manage organizational modernization, standardization, quality and customer satisfaction initiatives within the branch
- Participate in discussions and review of branch with core management team to develop methods and procedures to establish protocol to improve existing critical processes, increase revenue, eliminate waste, optimize expenses, penetrate and expand markets, promote business and increase customer satisfaction
- Regularly integrate with Surveyors to facilitate planning, coordination and general preparations of work schedules, customer visits, resource allocation and others specific duties.
- Provide direction and guidance regarding the daily activities of all Administration and support activities Recommend improvements in internal control systems and procedures as required.
- Participate in the annual budgetary review and creation process Hire, train, and evaluate direct reports Lead and nurture a company work culture and ethic that promotes open, frequent and dynamic communication among staff, stimulating teamwork and fostering professionalism to accomplish desired goals and objectives
- Proactively seek internal and external feedback regarding company services, professionalism and personnel performance issues
- Take immediate action to act upon requests and suggestions, and to investigate complaints concerning company policies, branch operations, individual conduct, customer satisfaction and all other individual and com an performance issues
- Communicate and ensure that each direct report understands their duties and responsibilities, tasks and reporting obligations and company goals and objectives
- Provide guidance and allocates resources accordingly in support of staff requesting assistance and in performing difficult or complicated duties
- Plan contingency resource management for scheduled departmental absences and holiday
- Perform Marine and Industrial inspections related, but not limited to, below, at both local and remote port locations for short periods of time, in accordance with company Inspection and Survey Guidelines Write detailed final customer reports regarding attended survey.
- To identify Risk and control the risk and update the Risk Register regularly.
- To assist in implementation of Quality Policy and Inspection & survey , QMS procedure ( Document control, control of records , internal audit , Non conformance , Mgt review , Corrective and Preventive action , Risk Mgt ) and ISO 17020 process , achievement of Quality objectives.
