Job Description

Their duty is to address any job site concerns, ensure safe working environments, communicate with construction workers and supervisors, coordinate tasks and production schedules, and train other employees. A construction foreman does this by communicating clearly and possessing great analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise construction activities and ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Manage construction crews, assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support to workers.
  • Monitor progress and productivity on the construction site, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
  • Enforce safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among crew members to prevent accidents and injuries. 
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the worksite to ensure quality standards are met and workmanship is of the highest level.
  • Resolve conflicts or disputes among crew members and addressing any performance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents that occur on the site.
  • Participate in planning meetings and providing input on construction schedules, resource allocation, and project budgets.
  • Serve as a liaison between project management and construction crews, communicating project updates, changes, and expectations clearly and effectively.
