Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and escort customers to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed information, including portions, ingredients, and potential food allergies.
- Prepare tables meticulously, setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations upon request.
- Skillfully upsell additional products when appropriate.
- Take precise food and drink orders using a HACCP ordering software, order slips, or memorization.
- Verify customers' ids to ensure compliance with age requirements for the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Efficiently communicate order details to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drink orders with professionalism and timeliness.
- Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, promptly reporting any issues.
- Maintain table settings and ensure a spotless dining area.
- Accurately deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Carefully transport dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations, including parties.
- Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service, promptly addressing any guest concerns.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take proactive steps to correct any issues.
