We are seeking a courteous and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Restaurant Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment customers enter the restaurant. The Restaurant Hostess will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate and timely seating arrangements.
  • Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and informing them of daily specials.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of guests to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain open lines of communication.
  • Relay important information to guests, such as wait times and daily specials.
  • Answer phone calls and assist guests with reservations.
  • Maintain an organized reservation book and communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff regarding reservation details.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, assisting guests, and managing reservations.
  • Remain calm and composed during busy periods to ensure efficient operation.
  • Keep the hostess area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.
