Job Description
Administrating the Flight data collection and analysis, following the accuracy of Flight data information in cooperation with the Engineering and Maintenance department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement Flight Data Monitoring Program (FDAP/FOQA).
- Administrating the Flight data collection and analysis, following the accuracy of Flight data information in cooperation with the Engineering and Maintenance department.
- Ensure effective assessment of information obtained from digital flight data and identify the operational risks.
- Provide required Safety Data for Operational Management Committee (OMC) and Safety Action Group (SAG) meetings.
- Provide appropriate flight data for Investigation of Incidents, as and when required.
- Prepare Monthly FDM Report.
- Prepare Safety Circulars, Bulletins as and when required.
- In the absence of Safety Supervisor, ensure proper communication is maintained with external entities such as FDM Software Provider, OEM, IATA as applicable and attend the queries for resolution at the earliest. Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree in the field of expertise such as an engineering degree from aeronautical, avionics or other studies relevant to the aviation.
- Has at least 03 years of relevant work experience, out of which at least 01 year should be in aeronautical industry/ Airline in appropriate position.
- Has knowledge of Kuwait DGCA regulations and requirements, ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices, Annexes and relevant documents.
- Has a good analytical skill.
- Computer literacy in MS Office program applications.
- Has attended FDM workshop or training to keep abreast of new developments.
- Having Safety Management System (SMS) and Human factors (HF) trainings.
