Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Restaurant Business Development Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our restaurant business. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent sales and marketing skills, and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and implementing effective marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Responsibilities

Business Development:

  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, such as new locations, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Conduct market research to analyze customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and increase customer retention.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, suppliers, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop business growth plans and set ambitious targets.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify target customer segments and develop tailored marketing campaigns to reach them.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze data to make strategic decisions and adjustments.
  • Explore and develop partnerships with local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness and customer reach.
  • Manage social media platforms and online presence to engage with customers and promote the brand.

Financial Analysis and Planning:

  • Analyze financial reports and market data to identify areas of improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare financial projections and budgets to support business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the financial performance of business development activities.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis for potential projects and partnerships.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as a point of contact for key accounts and handle any customer concerns or issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry associations, trade organizations, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the restaurant's network.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the management team to align business development strategies with overall business goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of new initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with colleagues to share insights, progress, and challenges.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of the restaurant industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
