We are looking for Estimator (Interior Fit-Outs)
Responsibilities
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Eastern Region (KSA). Responsibilities: 1. Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other Tender documents to understand project scope and requirements. 2. Prepare detailed cost estimates for Fit-Out projects based on detailed material take-offs, labor requirements, subcontractor quotes, and other relevant factors. 3. Utilize advanced estimating software and tools to accurately calculate costs, and quantities and prepare BOQs. 4. Identify and quantify project risks, Raise RFIs to clarify the missing information to ensure accurate cost estimates. 5. Evaluate potential risks and opportunities for cost savings during the estimation process. 6. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate pricing , technical information, availability of materials and services. 7. Prepare and present cost estimates to management for final approval. 8. Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients within specified deadlines. 9. Participate in bid meetings and negotiations. 10. The candidate should be able to prepare a detailed presentation of the Fit-Out estimation to make it more clear to the Client. 11. Review and analyse subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget. 12. Maintain accurate records of project estimates, including documentation of assumptions and methodologies used. 13. Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and performance standards. 14. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Fit-Out estimation. 15. Proper Follow-ups need to be made for the submitted Fit-Out offer. 16. The candidate should have the capability to acquire new clients to enhance business prospects.
Desired Candidate Profile
1. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering/ architectural, or related field. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fit-Out estimation for construction projects, preferably in the KSA region. 3. Familiarity with local Fit-Out materials/ service Vendors and subcontractors is essential. 4. Proficiency in Civil/ Fit-Out estimation software and tools, such as Candy or similar. 5. Basic knowledge in contract terms such as FIDIC is a plus 6. Strong understanding of GCC Fit-Out standards, construction methods, and building codes and regulations in the KSA region is a must. 7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. 8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment. 10. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus. 11. Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership or eligibility will be an added advantage. Benefits:
