Estimation Engineer – Building Construction
Job Description
A leading building construction company is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer with 12 years of experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tendering, cost analysis, and preparing detailed estimates in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for building construction projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Lead the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents, evaluating bids, and ensuring competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to discuss project scope and cost estimations.
- Review and compare vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Ensure all estimates and tenders meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Provide support to the project management team during the pre-construction phase.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in estimation and tendering within the UAE's building construction sector.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
