ESRI- 3D Consultant
Job Description
We’re seeking a skilled ESRI 3D GIS consultant. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in creating and managing 3D geospatial data to support advanced urban visualization and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D city models using ESRI ArcGIS
- Create and optimize 3D Tiles datasets for efficient streaming and visualization
- Integrate various geospatial data sources into cohesive 3D city representations
- Implement and manage workflows for updating and maintaining 3D city models
- Collaborate with urban planners and designers to support decision-making processes
- Develop custom tools and scripts to enhance 3D data processing capabilities
- Ensure data quality and accuracy in 3D geospatial representations
- Integrate standard machine learning file outputs with spatial data for advanced urban analytics
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Computer Science or related field
- 6 to 8 years of experience in GIS with a focus on 3D mapping and modeling
- Strong knowledge of 3D Tiles specification and implementation
- Advanced skills in ESRI ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp and CityEngine)
- Familiarity with web-based 3D visualization libraries (e.g., Cesium, ArcGIS API for JavaScript)
- Understanding of CityGML and other 3D geospatial data standards
- Experience with LiDAR data processing and point cloud management is a plus
