Job Description
The ELV Systems Technician will be responsible for satisfactorily completing all allocated planned and reactive maintenance tasks, fault finding and remedial repairs on ELV/IT systems and all associated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Multi-skilled technician to carry out fault diagnosis, remedial repairs, calibration, and planned preventative maintenance of the ELV systems.
- The ELV equipment is IP CCTV systems, Radio frequencies for in-house Walkie Talkie systems, Sound systems, RF signals for Television, Access Control, Video Wall, Central Battery Systems, Gate motor and barrier, Lighting control systems, UPS, and associated equipment.
- Establishes Voice and Data networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables.
- Maintenance of Fiber Optic cable Periodic testing Fiber degradation testing Splicing fiber optic cable Installing Telecommunications equipment, Routers, Switches, Multiplexors, Cable trays, and Fire alarm and Fire suppression systems.
- Installing PABX System ADSL, ISDN, IDD lines, Networking, and Data cabling.
- Coordinate with Service provider and radio engineer in cases of more complicated errors and malfunctions that needs repair or troubleshooting in timing system & network, race control system & network, and radio system.
- Coordinates and prepares all timekeeping and race control systems and electronics requirements of Dorna and F1. Execution of regular updates of the radios with coordination with the radio engineer.
- Performs minor repairs such as speaker replacement on the radio handsets.
