Electrical Engineer
Job Description
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and preparing detailed shop drawings. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Gulf region. They should have a strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as expertise in preparing shop drawings for electrical systems and low current systems.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant international and local standards.
- Preparing detailed shop drawings for electrical systems, including load and engineering calculations.
- Creating installation details for electrical systems, such as conduiting, cable arrangement, lighting fixtures, and panels.
- Preparing shop drawings for low current systems, lighting control systems, SCADA, and BMS.
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to develop innovative solutions.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Managing projects and adhering to project timelines and budgets.
- Ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of electrical systems.
- Keeping up to date with advancements in electrical engineering technology and practices.
- Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Gulf region.
- Previous employment related to roads and infrastructure works.
- Proficiency in relevant international and local standards.
- Expertise in preparing shop drawings with load and engineering calculations.
- Experience in creating installation details for electrical systems.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings for low current systems, lighting control systems, SCADA, and BMS.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
