Job Description
Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical systems for buildings, transport systems and power distribution networks. They work in and across many industries, such as construction, transport, energy (including renewables), building services, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and equipment.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to design and implement electrical projects.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technology and practices.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
- Manage and oversee electrical projects from conception to completion.
