Job Description
Oversee the electrical operations and maintenance of all outlets and associated logistics within the region. Manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, lead dedicated maintenance team, negotiate service contracts, ensure compliance with regulations, and monitor periodic maintenance activities. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities.

• MEP Management: - Oversee all MEP-related works in all Outlets, Logistics centres & New projects, ensuring compliance with national and local standards. - Conduct regular inspections and audits of electrical systems and equipment to assess functionality and safety • Maintenance Leadership: - Lead and manage maintenance team in the Region, ensuring effective maintenance strategies are implemented. - Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment. • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs): - Manage the renewal of AMCs for electrical services, ensuring competitive pricing and quality service. - Evaluate existing contracts, negotiate terms, and establish new contracts with service providers to optimize service delivery. • Negotiation with Service Providers: - Build and maintain relationships with key service providers and contractors, negotiating contracts and service agreements to secure cost-effective solutions. - Ensure service providers adhere to company standards and timelines. • Permit Management: - Coordinate necessary permit applications and ensure compliance with local regulations and codes for electrical installations and maintenance. - Keep abreast of changes in local regulations and standards that may affect operations. • Periodic Maintenance Monitoring: - Develop schedules for periodic maintenance of electrical and equipment systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. - Monitor execution and compliance of scheduled maintenance tasks, provide reports, and direct corrective actions as necessary. • Reporting and Documentation: - Prepare and maintain reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and compliance with regulations. - Document procedures and maintain records of all service interactions and maintenance activities. • Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate operational activities and maintenance schedules. - Communicate effectively with facility management, suppliers, and other engineers regarding project requirements and progress updates.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is a must. - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the handling large format retail/ malls formats / residential apartments. - Experience in various projects and detail design within the hypermarket projects.
Skills and Experience:
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. - Proven track record in managing electrical aspects of large format retail/ malls formats / residential apartments/ projects. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to negotiate with various vendors if required. - should know how to manage various local govt body compliances & local regulations. - should be able to manage various reports & documentations as per govt & corporate regulations.
