Draftsman
Job Description
We are looking for a Draftsman: to be Responsible for preparing detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans for buildings and structures, using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Must be able to interpret and understand architectural plans and specifications and have knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and construction methods. Must be able to communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other professionals. Must also be able to stay up to date with the latest drafting technology.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed drawings of architectural designs and plans
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures
- Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and documents
- Coordinate with architects and engineers
- Assist in building code research
- Develop and maintain design standards
- Draw detailed plans and diagrams for buildings and structures based on preliminary sketches and design specifications
- Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans
- Check and revise drawings to ensure accuracy
- Work with design and drafting software to create virtual models
- Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings for building projects
- Use manual drafting techniques and drawing instruments to accurately produce drawings
- Follow established guidelines and regulations when preparing drawings Skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer aided design software
- Proficiency in hand drafting techniques
- Excellent spatial visualization
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in landscaping/infrastructure
- UAE experiences mandatory
