Director of Planning – Riyadh
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an established engineering services and consulting company currently seeking a bilingual Arabic- and English-speaking Director of Planning to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
• Overseeing portfolio management across all phases and reporting on their progress in the form of reports, meetings, and dashboards to stakeholders
• Participating in the development of five-year portfolio plans
• Ensuring projects follow a proper stage gates approach in accordance with established standards
• Overseeing change requests at the portfolio level in coordination with the project planning and governance team
• Guiding direct reports regarding their responsibilities, providing feedback and advice to achieve department goals
Requirements:
• Degree qualification in Engineering, Information Technology, or Management, ideally with a masters
• 15 years of experience in strategic planning and project management of major initiatives and developments
• Certified PMP and CAPM from PMI, and Strategic Planning & KPI Practitioner from GPMA
• Excellent managerial skills, with demonstrable history of strategic planning, budgeting, change management, and risk assessment
• Influential at senior levels, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic, with good communication skills
Salary:
SAR 50,000 to 55,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
