Job Description
Skilled DevOps Engineer with +4 years of hands-on experience supporting, automating, and optimizing mission-critical deployments, leveraging configuration management, CI/CD, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, Kops, Rancher, AWS, GCP, and DevOps processes.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain fully automated CI/CD pipelines for code deployment using Jenkins, and Ansibe
- Built and deployed Docker containers to break up monolithic app into microservices, improving developer workflow, increasing scalability and availability.
- Create, change and improve infrastructure using Terraform, Packer, and CloudFormation.
- Wrote Ansible Roles to deploy, configure, and manage servers.
- AWS S3 static website hosting using SSL (ACM) and CloudFront.
- Installed and configured Nagios to constantly monitor network bandwidth, memory usage, and hard drive status.
- Actively manage, improve, and monitor cloud infrastructure on Cloudwatt and AWS.
- Deployed and Managed Kubernetes on a different platform like AWS using Kops, EKS, GCP using GKE and on-premises using Rancher.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Amazon ECS container service and ECR registry.
- Azure Container Instance and Azure Container Registry.

- +4 years of experience in technical management.
- The candidate must possess a deep understanding of the technical landscape, including The areas/technologies it’s nice to be familiar with : (Django, Docker, NodeJS, Email Service (Sendgrid), SMS, Sentry, API & Web Services, Celery (RabbitMQ), AWS – S3 & STC Cloud, React, Redux 3, Ansible Linux OS, Manage MySQL
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should have experience in managing technical projects and teams.
- The candidate should also possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
