Design Engineer for Structural Works
Job Description
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 7-10 years of experience in technical and engineering offices. They should be proficient in using AutoCAD & Arch CAD 2D& 3D for Architecture and AutoCAD 2D and SAP2000 for Structural design. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills to act as a responsible team leader and player. They should be hardworking, dynamic, and possess excellent English language skills. Experience in working with engineering/consultancy and construction companies for large-scale international projects is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop detailed engineering plans, blueprints, and specifications for construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Evaluate and analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan project activities.
- Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and timelines to clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and drafters.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Review and approve design changes and modifications.
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, innovations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 7-10 years of experience in technical and engineering offices.
- Certification in AutoCAD & Arch CAD 2D& 3D for Architecture and AutoCAD 2D and SAP2000 for Structural design.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team leader and player.
- Hardworking and dynamic with a strong work ethic.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience working with engineering/consultancy and construction companies for large-scale international projects.
